In 2024, Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire (SGCI) confirmed its leading position in the Ivorian banking market. The bank recorded a historic net profit of FCFA 101.2 billion (USD 160.3 million), demonstrating its solidity, profitability and spirit of innovation. These results were presented on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at a press conference held at the Hôtel Tiama, located at Le Plateau in Abidjan.

SGCI’s management, represented by Patrick Blas (General Manager), Magloire N’Guessan (General Manager in charge of Finance and Resources), Brice Oble (General Manager in charge of Corporate Customers and Payments), and Anne-Marie Keïta (Acting Chief Financial Officer), underlined the bank’s continued growth momentum. With shareholders’ equity up 12% to FCFA 452 billion, SGCI has a 20% market share in loans and 16% in deposits. Outstanding loans rose by 3.3%, while outstanding deposits increased by 1.2%.
